El Sistema Violinist Joins Tampa Bay International School's Teaching Team in 2023

Violinist and teacher Isabella Díaz, trained in El Sistema in Venezuela, has taught intensive classes at the Tampa Bay International School, sharing the violin techniques she acquired at a very young age in El Sistema in Venezuela. This methodology is considered the most advanced in music education worldwide. Díaz served as a UNICEF Venezuela Goodwill Ambassador as an El Sistema Venezuela.
Professor Diaz began her studies and professional development under the tutelage of her father, Dr. Francisco Diaz, and participates in prominent professional orchestras in her country, as well as in international summer courses, youth and professional gatherings in the USA, and orchestral tours throughout Europe and Asia.
One of her goals is to further the mission of this prestigious institution, which is to provide a student-centered, bilingual education that fosters the academic, emotional, and social growth of each child. “Music is a fundamental element for strengthening students' psychosocial skills. It's a way to unite families and foster values that elevate human development in society,” says Professor Diaz.
